What is Death?
What is Death? Not just as a concept, but as an entity that constantly looms over the heads of all living things. And why is Death so terrifying to so many people but peaceful and calming to so many others? The answers to each of these questions will likely not be found here. The answers lie in your own mind. Expanding the mind to fully understand the purpose of life and death is a never ending journey and this is just a stepping stone into infinity. Religion is a common answer to these questions; a way to find peace and not fear the unknown. But religion isn’t for everyone and, even within religion, every single person has unique thoughts and ideas that may help them understand the unfathomable. Death is inescapable but so is life and the more we fear it, the more control it has over the life we live. Many people consider happiness to be the meaning of life but at times we stop ourselves from allowing this to happen by getting caught up in the fear of the future and the unknown. Fear is ok. Fear is uncomfortable but it won’t hurt you. The best you can do is to allow yourself to freely follow life wherever it takes you until the day you must confront Death.
